The Ogden Library (Jennie C. Jones, Glenn Ligon) will be closed to the public on December 14 (2:30 – 4:30 PM) and December 16 (9:30 AM – 2:30 PM). The rest of the museum will remain open.

Parking & accessibility

The Museum does not have an assigned parking area. Surrounding the Museum are several lots managed by Premium Parking. For pricing and to reserve your spot, explore premiumparking.com. In addition, there are street parking options along Camp St. and throughout the Warehouse/Arts District, as well as a paid parking garage on the World War II Museum campus at 1024 Magazine Street. Prices vary depending on parking location.

COVID safety protocol

Everyone 2 and older must wear a mask while visiting the Museum, regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status. Your mask should be worn at all times and cover both your mouth and nose.

About the Ogden Museum of Southern Art

Located in the vibrant Warehouse Arts District of downtown New Orleans, the Ogden Museum of Southern Art holds the largest and most comprehensive collection of Southern art and is recognized for its original exhibitions, public events, and educational programs, which examine the development of visual art alongside Southern traditions of music, literature, and culinary heritage to provide a comprehensive story of the South. Established in 1999, and in Stephen Goldring Hall at 925 Camp Street since 2003, the museum welcomes almost 85,000 visitors annually and attracts diverse audiences through its broad range of programming, including exhibitions, lectures, film screenings, and concerts, which are all part of its mission to broaden the knowledge, understanding, interpretation, and appreciation of the visual arts and culture of the American South.
