Join P.5 Associate Curator, Grace Deveney, as she discusses the work of New Orleans native George Dureau. A painter and a photographer, Dureau is best known for his black-and-white photographs exploring New Orleans residents, especially those from marginalized communities. In Prospect.5, a selection of Dureau’s iconic works are on view along side lesser known images that show the breadth of his practice and vision of his city. This event will take place at The Historic New Orleans Collection's Scovern Gallery.
